Team Paigham-e-Ilm visit to Dar-ul-Sukoon Episode 2

Children with special needs can be found in orphanages all around the world. Many parents believe that they have no choice but to leave their child with special needs in an orphanage, whether due to poverty, disability, or strong stigma. However, every kid requires medical and special attention in order to be healthy and attain their full potential. That is why there is an institution named as Dar ul Sukoon in Karachi. It was created on February 17, 1969, by a Dutch nun, Sr. Gertrude Lemmens, who came to Pakistan as a tourist in her youth and committed her life to caring for sick and special needs children.
Dar-ul-Sukoon continues its history today by assisting in the provision of medical treatment, therapies, and specialised care to children with special needs in order for them to grow, stay healthy and prosper in life.
