رمضان المبارک کی پہلی رات:
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ أَوَّلُ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ صُفِّدَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ وَمَرَدَةُ الْجِنِّ، وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ فَلَمْ يُفْتَحْ مِنْهَا بَابٌ، وَفُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ فَلَمْ يُغْلَقْ مِنْهَا بَابٌ، وَيُنَادِي مُنَادٍ: يَا بَاغِيَ الْخَيْرِ أَقْبِلْ، وَيَا بَاغِيَ الشَّرِّ أَقْصِرْ، وَلِلہ عُتَقَاءُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَذَلِكَ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ.(صحيح الجامع، حدیث: ٧٥٩)
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب رمضان کی پہلی رات ہوتی ہے تو شیاطین اور سرکش جنات کو جکڑ دیا جاتا ہے، جہنم کے دروازے بند کر دیے جاتے ہیں اور ان میں سے کوئی دروازہ نہیں کھولا جاتا، اور جنت کے دروازے کھول دیے جاتے ہیں اور ان میں سے کوئی دروازہ بند نہیں کیا جاتا۔ اور ایک پکارنے والا پکارتا ہے: اے خیر کے طالب! آگے بڑھ، اور اے شر کے چاہنے والے! رک جا۔ اور اللہ تعالیٰ ہر رات کچھ لوگوں کو جہنم سے آزاد فرماتا ہے۔“
