Department of Arts, Humanities and Sciences organized an interactive and informative session on “Scope and importance of Actuarial Science” for the students of BS actuarial sciences at KIET on 26th December 2022.
Mr. Omer Khan- Manager Actuarial services AIA, ASA (Consultant) from Badri Management Consultancy was invited as a guest speaker. He along with his team interacted with the students, guided them and broadened their vision about the future horizons of this specialized field.

A declamation contest was held by the Department of English at the main campus on Tuesday, 1st November, 2022. Waniya Rana and Syed Qasim Jalal secured first and second positions respectively. There was a tie for third position between Aahil Alwani and Syed Muhammad Ali Faizan. Speaking on this occasion, Head of the Department of English Prof. Ajmal Khan said that the speakers’ views on the topics were thought provoking and reassuring. The President KIET AVM (R) Usaid ur Rehman Usmani graced the occasion as the chief guest. While speaking, he shared a few techniques for improvement in public speaking and congratulated and motivated students to participate in such events.
