Founded in 1982, the Petarian Association has become the focal point of gathering for all Petarians, particularly those in Pakistan. The association is a successor of the Petaro Old Boys Association (POBA) that existed informally for a few years in the late 1960s, and then became defunct. The Petarian Association was registered under the Societies Registration Act-XXI of 1860 on the 4th of Februar

y 1982 under registration no. Over these years, the association has hosted numerous functions that provide a social meeting ground for the Petarians and their families. The Association presently has over 900 life members. All Petarians are requested to patronize the Association by becoming life members. If you would like to become a member, please contact the Association office at Fleet Club, Karachi. The Commander Karachi (COMKAR) of the Pakistan Navy (who is the Chairman Board of Governors of Cadet College Petaro) has always been invited to be the Patron-in-Chief of the Association. The Principal of Cadet College Petaro is the Patron of the Association. The Association publishes a newsletter called "Petarian News", which is circulated to its members. In addition, a souvenir is normally published once a year which provides biographical details of some prominent Petarians. Social functions of the Association include musical nights, sports days, picnics, and gala events. These events have been crucial in bringing the families of the Petarians to know each other. The most active chapter of the Association is the one based in Karachi. In addition, the Hyderabad chapter has also been very regular in its meetings and functions. The chapters in Lahore and Islamabad have had an erratic history - having been active at different periods of time. The Islamabad chapter has been a lot more active since 2006. In recent years, student chapters were set up at NED University, SSUET, Karachi University, and other higher education institutes. The Association funded book banks at these universities to assist the Petarian students, and organized seminars. The Petarian Association, Karachi celebrated its Silver Jubilee (25 years of existence) with Mr. Mohammedmian Soomro as the Chief Guest. The function was organized on a grand scale on 13 January 2007. In May 2009, the Association hosted a dinner for the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Noman Bashir at PC, Karachi that was attended by prominent Petarians.TPA is currently going through a major transformation, where it aims to incorporate changes in its charter to convert it into a Global Alumni body of Petarians all over the world

Our very dear and patriotic Petarian, EX Secretary establishment and present chairman FPSC Maroof Afzal bhaijan of Latif house Y-38 :72 entry passes away today of Corona, was on ventilator for quite few days. May God bless him and rest his soul in entire peace, Aameen.

It's sad to inform that Mother of Qazi Shahid Pervez BhaiJan (74 entry) & Mashood Qazi BhaiJan (78 entry) & Grand Mother of M. Ali Qazi Bhaijan (2005 entry) has passed away today.

Her Namaz e Janaza will be offered outside Masjid e Ahl e Sunnat DMCHS Hyderabad tomorrow (Tuesday 14th September 2021) at 9.00 am.

May ALLAH (S.W.T.) Grant her Maghfirah, Bless her with choicest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous & rest his soul in eternal peace, Aameen.

Official Announcement from TPA Karachi Chapter

Dear brothers
As'salaam u Alaikum

Ghazal Night & Family Get Together scheduled to be held on July 13, 2019 has been postponed.

As the program was an Family Event & most of our Senior & Junior Bhaijans requested to accommodate them without family.

Brothers who have proceeded abroad due to their kids vacations requested to extend the date.

So, the President TPA Karachi Chapter Abdul Rauf Shaikh Bhaijan in consultation with the event Organizers have decided to reschedule the event to make it more viable to accommodate maximum brothers to attend the long awaited event.

New dates for the event will be decided & announced soon.

For all Petarians who already bought the cards for the event, kindly accept our regrets. We assure you that new cards will be issued to you when the date for the event is finalized.

We regret for the inconvenience.

It's really shocking & sad news to share that Aurangzeb Khan Bhaijan 431-LF passed away in early hours of 13.05.2018 around 3:20 am & he is no more with us.

May ALLAH (S.W.T.) Grant him Maghfirah, Bless him with choicest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous & rest his soul in eternal peace, Aameen.

Auranzeb Bhaijan will always remain in our heart & prayers, not only as a Petarian, but due to his humble, kind & loving nature. He was down to earth & a caring person.

Entire fraternity is in a state of shock & grief with the sad demise of our dear Bhaijan - an end to a eventful era in lives of Petarians.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, specially his Petarian son Saad Auranzeb. We pray that his entire family be blessed with utmost strength to bear this irrecoverable loss, Aameen.

Donation of new Computer System & it's inauguration on April 26, 2018 at Office of TPA Karachi Chapter at PN Fleet Club, Karachi

This is to inform that Vice President TPA CEC Farooq Azam Memon inaugurated the new computer system installed at TPA Karachi Chapter Office at PN Fleet Club, Karachi on April 26, 2018 at 8:30 PM.
