A recent article on air pollution (smog of democracy) was published by Yogendra Yadav. Why is air pollution not a political issue? It is most relevant to political issues. Furthermore, he said in a democratic society a political leader works for the public, but why has air pollution not been considered a political issue? Air pollution threatens our physical lives, but unfortunately, it has been ignored by the mainstream. On the other hand, a definition of democracy is to ensure the protection of every individual, but here air pollution is threatening human lives. However, Yadav mentioned in his article that a business works for profit, while a political entrepreneur works for power.As we cannot expect a shopkeeper to willingly incur losses and serve customers, we should not expect run-of-the-mill political leaders and political parties to risk losing elections in order to serve the people. However, in reality, political parties and political leaders do what they are rewarded for and avoid doing what they may be punished for. They do not act honestly and wisely, as they have little electoral incentive to do so.

The world and politics of the world are classified by the strong leader. In developed countries, a leader stands with the public at all times, especially during critical times. Unfortunately, in Pakistan, there is a different definition of a leader. Here, a leader stands with the public when he or she is out of power and doesn't do much for the public.

Some undesirable patterns of society were identified by Bisson in the twelfth century in Europe, such as dynastic rule, the conflation of lordship and state, inequality , electoral promises divorced from reality, the politics of vertical solidarities, and the absence of accountability. These patterns have improved over time in Europe. Unfortunately, South Asian society is still facing these patterns, which are making the society more unstable.

The modern world fails to square liberty with equality. Anyone who has read a novel by Charles Dickens knows that the liberal regimes of nineteenth-century Europe gave priority to individual freedom, even if it meant throwing insolvent poor families in prison and giving orphans little choice but to join schools for pickpockets. Furthermore, anyone who has read a novel by Alexander Solzhenitsyn knows how communism's egalitarian ideal produced brutal tyrannies that tried to control every aspect of daily life.

Education is more dangerous thing.

Thanks to rulers who never gave attention on education, because their institutes are serving them in a good way in return of money. Therefore,for them ,it is not a major issue. During the elections manifesto ,they didn't even bother to foucs over it. Like PPP's slogan that has been voiced since 1970's "Roti, kapra, Makan" have no space for education. Similarly,PML (N) second major party have no concern towards education while today's ruling class aslo have no Issue regarding education because Worth 50 lac houses are compulsory for them instead of 30,000 schools .They have the justification that through such mega projects they can overcome the poverty like predecessor's metro , orange train and Ashiana housing scheme .In fact , everyone knows that education is a dangerous thing in the world because if they give it to the common people then common people on the behalf of education and awareness will replace them in all the corridors of power with the perspective of true democracy.It was indicated by Aristotle even in 322 B.C that without education you can't flourish democracy rather you will promote mobocracy. In Pakistan,we can't practice democracy with 40% literacy rate which can be labeled as mobocracy, indicated by Aristotle, through "Biryani" and Qeema waly naan" that can be observed during elections. Therefore, every ruler either local leaders or a democrat do not have an objective to educate the nation except Parvez Musharaf who established HEC and focused over higher education.The reason of this lack of attention towards education by the ruling class is the interests of ruling class which is elitist. They know if they want to enjoy the rule then the access of education to everyone should not be their interest because then they won't be able to snub the rights of lower and middle strata.

We know how to build a dam and stop a river from flowing,but we did not know how to stop the body from ageing.W know how to design an irrigation system,but we had no idea how to design a brain.If mosquitoes buzzed in our ears and disturbed our sleep,we know how to kill the mosquitoes; but if a thought buzzed in our mind and kept us awake at night,most of us did not know how to kill the thought.
