Allhamdullih, Energy Environment and Sustainability Research Group published the latest collaboration results in the international journal "Processes". These results were achieved by UET Lahore in collaboration with a large international team which includes, Sotacarbo Italy (Sustainable Energy Research Centre), Heriot-Watt University (UK), Aston University (UK), Karlstad University (Sweden), National University of Sciences and Technology (Pakistan) and Yalova University (Turkey) . Dr. M Farooq (Team Lead) thanked all national & international collaborators especially Dr. Alberto Pettinau​ from SOTACARBO and Dr. Salman Raza Naqvi from NUST Pakistan for the great co-ordination. Alhamdullaih, Energy Environment and Sustainability Research (EESR) Group conducted progress meeting of December-2019 lead by Dr. Muhammad Farooq at Center of Energy Research And Development (CERAD), UET KSK. Special Thanks to the Chairman Mechanical Engineering, New Campus KSK, Prof. Dr. Shahid Imran for joining the meeting and to one of the International Collaborator of EESR Group, Dr. AbdulAzizi Atabani (Head, Alternative Fuels Research Laboratory (AFRL), Erciyes University, Turkey) for the great input and discussion about international oppertunities with the group members. He joined the meeting via Skype.

Energy Environment and Sustainability Research (EESR) is working for the clean and green environment to save the planet. The EESR group is lead by Dr. Muhamamd Farooq, with the expertise ranges from but not limited to preparation of novel adsorbents for carbon capture, Regeneration of adsorbents, gas clean-up systems, syn-gas technologies, waste to energy, energy management and planning environmental protection to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs). Currently, the group is collaborating with many national and international partners in different countries including UK, China, Australia, Italy, Turkey, Singapore and Germany, Greece and Spain.
