The first thing that should be noticed in an online Quran tutor is his/her qualification and expertise. You should keep an eye on the fact that whether the teacher has a degree in that specific subject that you want to learn from that teacher.

If you want to memorize Quran online, the first thing you should ask the tutor should be about his Quran memorization. Only a Hafiz can teach Quran memorization. If you want to learn Quran with Tajweed, your teacher should be a degree holder in Tajweed. He should have expertise in the recitation of the Quran, following the rules of Tajweed. ☝🏼 *اَللّٰہُ نَزَّلَ اَحۡسَنَ الۡحَدِیۡثِ کِتٰبًا مُّتَشَابِہًا مَّثَانِیَ ٭ۖ تَقۡشَعِرُّ مِنۡہُ جُلُوۡدُ الَّذِیۡنَ یَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّہُمۡ ۚ ثُمَّ تَلِیۡنُ جُلُوۡدُہُمۡ وَ قُلُوۡبُہُمۡ اِلٰی ذِکۡرِ اللّٰہِ ؕ ذٰلِکَ ہُدَی اللّٰہِ یَہۡدِیۡ بِہٖ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ؕ وَ مَنۡ یُّضۡلِلِ اللّٰہُ فَمَا لَہٗ مِنۡ ہَادٍ ﴿۲۳﴾*

_*اللہ تعالٰی نے بہترین کلام نازل فرمایا ہے جو ایسی کتاب ہے کہ آپس میں ملتی جلتی اور بار بار دہرائی ہوئی آیتوں کی ہے جس سے ان لوگوں کے رونگٹے کھڑے ہو جاتے ہیں جو اپنے رب کا خوف رکھتے ہیں آخر میں ان کے جسم اور دل اللہ تعالٰی کے ذکر کی طرف نرم ہو جاتے ہیں یہ ہے اللہ تعالٰی کہ ہدایت جس کے ذریعہ جسے چاہے راہ راست پر لگا دیتا ہے اور جسے اللہ تعالٰی ہی راہ بھلا دے اس کا ہادی کوئی نہیں ۔*_
