The session was attended online at the University Library Discussion Room, providing our students valuable exposure to cutting-edge quantum science and modern physics.

Day 4 | NAHE AI Literacy Training for Faculty – Successfully Concluded

The NAHE AI Literacy Training for Faculty, organized by the National Academy for Higher Education (NAHE), HEC, successfully concluded at the HEC PERN Smart Classroom, University of Jhang, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab, Vice Chancellor, University of Jhang.

The concluding day featured collaborative group projects, development of AI-enhanced educational artefacts, project showcases, and reflection on the practical integration of AI into teaching and learning.

Special appreciation to Dr. Kalsoom Safdar for coordinating and facilitating the training at the University of Jhang, and to all participating faculty members for their active engagement and enthusiasm.

Heartfelt thanks to HEC and NAHE for providing this valuable learning opportunity and utilizing the HEC PERN Smart Classroom at the University of Jhang for this impactful initiative.

🌐 Day 3 | NAHE AI Literacy Training for Faculty

Day 3 of the NAHE AI Literacy Training for Faculty, organized by the National Academy for Higher Education (NAHE), HEC, was successfully conducted at the HEC Smart Classroom, University of Jhang, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab, Vice Chancellor, University of Jhang.

Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab, Vice Chancellor, also attended the session and encouraged faculty members to actively engage with emerging AI technologies and embrace AI for academic and professional growth.

The session covered Text-to-Speech technologies, AI Tools, Plagiarism, Research Ethics, and HEC policies on the responsible use of AI in academic practices.

Faculty members actively participated in the sessions, exploring practical AI applications while gaining awareness of academic integrity, ethical AI use, and responsible research practices.

The training is being coordinated by Dr. Kalsoom Safdar, Incharge IT Services/CS&IT, as part of the University’s efforts to strengthen AI awareness and digital capacity among faculty.

Day 2 of the NAHE AI Literacy Training for Faculty, organized by the National Academy for Higher Education (NAHE), HEC, was successfully conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab, Vice Chancellor, University of Jhang at the HEC Smart Classroom, University of Jhang.

Today’s session focused on practical and emerging aspects of AI, including Prompt Engineering, AI Tools, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and the effective use of AI in education and academic practices.

Faculty members actively engaged in the hands-on learning activities, enhancing their understanding of how AI tools can support teaching, learning, research, and academic productivity.

The training is being coordinated by Dr. Kalsoom Safdar, Incharge CS&IT/Services, as part of the University’s efforts to strengthen AI awareness and digital capacity among faculty.

Day 1 of NAHE-HEC AI Online Training Successfully Conducted at University of Jhang

Under the esteemed leadership of Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab, Vice Chancellor, University of Jhang, Day 1 of the NAHE-HEC AI Training was successfully conducted at the HEC Smart Classroom, University of Jhang.

The training session was organized by Dr. Kalsoom Safdar, Focal Person and Incharge CS&IT/IT Services, University of Jhang, with the support of the dedicated team from IT Services and Estate Office. The session provided faculty members with valuable insights into Artificial Intelligence and its emerging applications in teaching, learning, and academic practices.

The session concluded with an insightful keynote address by the Chairman, HEC Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, highlighting the importance of AI and its role in shaping the future of higher education.

سیرت کانفرنس کا انعقاد
بروز منگل، مورخہ 25 اگست 2026ء، بمطابق 11 ربیع الاول شعبہ علوم اسلامیہ، یونیورسٹی آف جھنگ کے زیرِ اہتمام ایک پروقار سیرت کانفرنس کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس کی صدارت جامعہ کے معزز وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فہیم آفتاب صاحب نے فرمائی۔

کانفرنس کی نقابت کی ذمہ داری محترمہ انعم سلیم صاحبہ، سیکرٹری ایونٹ مینجمنٹ کمیٹی نے نہایت احسن انداز میں انجام دی۔ پروگرام کا آغاز تلاوتِ کلامِ پاک سے ہوا، جس میں سٹوڈنٹس نے خوبصورت اور پُرسوز انداز میں قرآنِ کریم کی تلاوت پیش کی اور نعتِ رسولِ مقبول ﷺ پڑھنے کی سعادت بھی حاصل کی۔

کانفرنس میں سیرتِ طیبہ ﷺ کے مختلف پہلوؤں پر جامع اور فکر انگیز گفتگو کی گئی۔ ڈاکٹر عدنان صاحب، اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر شعبہ اردو، شعبہ علوم اسلامیہ کے اساتذہ محترم محمد رفیق خان صاحب، حافظ رمضان سعیدی صاحب، محترم ثوبان محمود صاحب اور انچارج شعبہ علوم اسلامیہ حافظ عبدالمنان صاحب نے سیرت النبی ﷺ کے مختلف گوشوں کو قرآن و سنت کی روشنی میں اجاگر کیا اور حاضرین کو سیرتِ طیبہ ﷺ کی عملی پیروی کی طرف متوجہ کیا۔

کانفرنس کے اختتام پر صدرِ کانفرنس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فہیم آفتاب صاحب، وائس چانسلر یونیورسٹی آف جھنگ نے صدارتی خطاب فرمایا۔ آپ نے سیرتِ رسول اکرم ﷺ کی اہمیت، اس کے عملی تقاضوں اور موجودہ دور میں اسوۂ حسنہ ﷺ سے رہنمائی حاصل کرنے کی ضرورت پر نہایت جامع اور مؤثر گفتگو فرمائی۔

اس پروقار کانفرنس کو کامیاب بنانے میں بالخصوص وائس چانسلر آفس، اسٹیٹ آفس اور آئی ٹی آفس نے بھرپور تعاون اور بنیادی کردار ادا کیا، جس پر شعبہ علوم اسلامیہ ان تمام شعبہ جات کا تہہ دل سے شکر گزار اور ممنون ہے۔

شعبہ علوم اسلامیہ، یونیورسٹی آف جھنگ تمام معزز مہمانان، اساتذہ، طلبہ، انتظامی و معاون شعبہ جات اور بالخصوص یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ کا صمیمِ قلب سے شکریہ ادا کرتا ہے، جن کے تعاون سے یہ بابرکت اور یادگار سیرت کانفرنس احسن انداز میں پایۂ تکمیل کو پہنچی۔
