On May 8, 2026, the Department of Chemistry organized a comprehensive one-day study tour for BS 8th Semester students, visiting the DIG Investigation Office and the Jawa Group of Chemicals in Lahore. We extend our deepest gratitude to DIG Syed Zeeshan, SP CRO Rao Zahid, and Crime Scene Investigation Head Inspector Muhammad Yusuf for their exceptional hospitality.
At the Jawa Group of Chemicals (Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Site), technical team provided an in-depth tour of their operational facilities.

The 2nd IQC Meeting at the University of Jhang was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab. The meeting was organized by the QEC, University of Jhang, and presented by Additional Director QEC, Dr. Abdul Basit. The session focused on strengthening the IQC framework, discussion on the QAA policy, departmental PREE activities, accreditation status of BS programs, LMS activation, and improvement of the classroom environment to further enhance academic quality and institutional performance at the University of Jhang. The Sports Office, University of Jhang successfully organized the Inter-Departmental Tug of War championship and Inter-Departmental Kabaddi Championships on 22 April 2026.
In Tug of War, the Department of English secured first position, while Economics was runner-up. In Kabaddi, the Department of English emerged as champion, while Mass Communication finished as runner-up.
Prizes were distributed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab in the presence of Convener Sports Committee Dr. M. Shoaib Anwar, faculty members, and administrative officers.
