M.Ali Tariq Girls College & Mian Nazir Hussain Model Secondry School Jrw

It was established in a single room with one table and one chair. The owners were very keen to convert the school into a great hall of learning, so the construction for the school building started in 1990 and the school was shifted to the present building in the same year. In 1999 it was upgraded to the level of middle school. It attained the status of high school in 1996. In 1999 a new building was constructed to hold the intermediate classes, and this milestone was achieved in 2000. Mian Muhammad Ali Tariq, the late son of Mian Shamim Anwar, had conceived this idea and pursued it vigorously to turn it into reality in the shortest possible time. The new institution was thus named as “Muhammad Ali Tariq Girls College”. This college not only provides excellent compounds with lush green lawns, superb play grounds, fully equipped computer labs, science labs but also the quality education which makes it second to none in the surrounding area. Our girl students have started making their marks in reputed institution of the country like King Edwards Medical College and Punjab Medical College.
