The journey of Mian Shamim Anwar Educational complex Jaranwala started in 1983, as a primary school.

It was established in a single room with one table and one chair. The owners were very keen to convert the school into a great hall of learning, so the construction for the school building started in 1990 and the school was shifted to the present building in the same year.
