August 31, 2022: Mr. Muhammad Abrar Khan, Program Officer at JICA Pakistan office handed over first batch of emergency relief goods (tents and plastic sheets) to Major Muazzam, Representative at National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) at Karachi. The second batch of the goods is expected to arrive in couple of days.

Chief Representative of JICA Pakistan, Mr. Yasumitsu Kinosh*ta offers sincere condolences to the people of Pakistan and prays for early recovery and restoration of the affected areas as the country goes through a difficult phase. In disaster risk management, JICA has a long history of cooperation with Pakistan and resolves to continue the partnership for safety of the people of Pakistan.
