-------CV Compiling Suggestions-------
----------WORTH READING-----------
CV is more important than your DEGREES Combined. Believe me or not.
Note: Mostly, It's the first and only piece of paper to impress recruiters in the first place.
1. Write an inspiring Summary (Don't copy or ask someone to write it for you, write your own and avoid "I" or "I am"). Don't write "I'm applying for". Recruiters already know it.
2. Never ever mention your gender. It's not much of a concern.
Note: Just update your linkedIn profile and add a link.
3. Add formal photo with blue/white background. Avoid "Savage DPs" like I have seen a SUPERCAR instead of a photo. Can you imagine? 🤦
4. Start sections with experience. Education later.
5. Mention dates (month & year) along with the expected date of graduation.
6. Avoid using colors, logos etc. CV should be black & white except email or linkedIn link. It's not a BROCHURE of you.
7. Don't add odd jobs (Lavapiatti) 🤦 or foolish EXPERIENCE like GLOVO and JustEat delivery partner for professional jobs.
8.. FOCUS on your skills and try to mention your proficiency (Expert, Intermediate, Beginner) with every skill. Add expertise here if you have done any project.
9. Don't mention if you're a champion in RUNG or Snooker. WTH? 😅 Just add hobbies if you want.
10. Don't add your signatures. 🤦 it's a personal identity and could be misused.
Lame people are still looking for Shortcuts. They aren't serious in finding a better job. They are serious about doing GLOVO & JustEat and not loosing an hour while graduating from renowned Universities.
Can't spend a single day in compiling a CV. I can't even mention the stupidities that I'm encountering.
Supercar in your profile? Logos? Odd jobs in professional experience? What other you can expect? Hilarious 😅
I'm speechless.
One piece of paper "CV" is more important than your degrees Combined (Especially in European job market)
