OGDCL has launched Pakistan’s first horizontal oil well, ‘PASAKHI 13’, in Hyderabad. The well produces around 460 barrels daily using advanced geo-steering and ESP technology. Experts say horizontal drilling could triple output compared to conventional wells. This milestone strengthens local energy production, reduces reliance on imports, and supports national energy security.
