خدمتِ خلق کا جذبہ عمر کا محتاج نہیں ہوتا۔ اس بات کا عملی مظاہرہ اُس وقت دیکھنے کو ملا جب ننھے محمد تقی، ولدِ محترم دریویش رضا، نے راستے میں روک کر کہا:
"بھائی، میں نے پیسے جمع کیے ہیں۔ اہلِ محلہ کے لیے پانی بانٹنا چاہتا ہوں۔ یہاں لوگ پانی کو ترس رہے ہیں۔"
ایسے سچے جذبے کو کون ٹھکرا سکتا تھا؟ ننھے تقی کے اخلاص اور خدمت کے جذبے کو دیکھ کر میں نے بھی ہمت کی اور اس کے ساتھ کھڑا ہو گیا۔
پھر تقی، اپنے ننھے ہاتھوں میں برتن لیے،
خوشی خوشی اہلِ محلہ کو پانی بانٹتا رہا چہرے پر مسکراہٹ، دل میں خدمت کا جذبہ، اور آنکھوں میں ایک معصوم خوشی۔
واقعی، سلام ہے اُن والدین کو جنہوں نے اپنے بچے کی ایسی تربیت کی۔ یہ وہی نسل ہے جو کل کو معاشرے کا فخر بنے گی۔
ہماری دُعا ہے کہ ہر بچہ محمد تقی جیسی سوچ رکھے، دوسروں کی خدمت کا جذبہ، ایثار کا مادہ، اور انسانیت سے محبت۔
