Bahlul goes to the market and first checks the butcher's weighing stone, it comes out less. He asks the butcher how things are going..?
The butcher says that these are very bad days. I feel like stabbing this meat-cutting knife into my body and sleeping forever.
Bahlul next checks the weighing stone of the second butcher, it also comes out less. He asks the butcher how the conditions are at home. He says that I wish Allah had not created me, I am living a very humiliating life. Bahlul moves on.
They reach the third butcher, check the weighing stone and find it to be absolutely correct. He asks the butcher how life is going....?
The butcher said, "I am very happy, Allah has done a great favor. My children are good, and life is going very well." Bahlul returns. Sultan Harun al-Rashid asks, "What is the situation?" Bahlul says that the weighing stones of many butchers have turned out to be less. The Sultan angrily said, "Then why didn't you arrest them and bring them here?" Bahlul said, "Allah himself was punishing them. He had made the world difficult for them, so what was the need to bring them here?" Today, we also have some of the same situations.
