BJ Micro Lab is a Research and Development Center. It is registered with SECP and FBR. The Laboratory started operating in July 2021. The Founding Director and CEO is Dr. Bushra Jamil, she has served as Assistant Professor at NUMS and UOL. She has expertise in Nanotechnology and Microbiology.

BJ Micro Lab provides different facilities in terms of product and Lab services. The Lab also conducts several workshops on Basic to Advanced Laboratory Techniques (Real-Time PCR). Products and chemicals such as RNALater, DNA/RNA Loading dyes, TBE/TE Buffers, Agar Media and salts can be bought in small quantities.

The setup comprises of Molecular Biology Lab and Microbiology Lab. Food and Water Testing Lab is soon to be launched.

Internship program is available for students. Bench space for research work is also available for all academic levels (BS/MS/MPhil/FCPS and PhD).

Rameesha Abid ,a bright student of BS Biotechnology (Semester-8th) from the Department of Bioinformatics and Biosciences, won the First prize award and cash prize in "Agar Art Competition" on NUMS-World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAM) held at NUMS (Nation University of Medical Sciences) in which many students from different institutes of Pakistan has participated.
