2. Primary Focus of the School
2.1 Personality development:
Major aim of the school is personality development of the students. For that reason following steps & methods are adopted:
(i) Character building based on Islamic values. (iii) Different activities for development of abilities.
2.2 Physical development:
In “FAMS” we believe that “A sound mind is found in a sound body” thus take special care of the physical fitness of the students.
2.3 Intellectual Development:
The school focuses on intellectual development of students through curricular and co-curricular activities, literary competitions in a friendly teaching learning atmosphere.
3. Teaching Methodology
3.1 The school has qualified and trained teaching staff providing the best education to students.
3.2 Special refresher courses are held for the teachers in summer vacations to train the teachers & up-date their knowledge.
3.3 A religious scholar & Qari Sahib impart religious education to the students.
4. Stages of Education
4.1 Play Group
Children of the age group 3 to 3½ years are molded to learn through especially designed material, environments and A.V. aids.
4.2 Nursery
Children of the age group 3½ to 4½ years are prepared gradually to take a firm step towards acquisition of knowledge through recognition of colours, pictures, objects, alphabets and figures.
4.3 Prep
At this stage students are prepared to study regular syllabus.
4.4 Primary School. From class I to V special attention is paid to prepare the students for future challenges according to the class and level. Class V students are prepared to take centralized examination.
5. Media of Communication
5.1 Medium of instruction is English (with special emphasis upon pronunciation and fluency in the language). It is, however, made sure that the students maintain their mastery over the national language.
5.2 The school has distinction of teaching Holy Quran with proper pronunciation (Tajweed) and guide students that how to become a good Muslim.
6. Assessment & Examination System
In all classes “Progress Reports” are sent to the parents after every test or examination. A student’s promotion is dependent upon the consolidated total of marks obtained in his/her annual examination plus the marks obtained in the term examinations.
7. Parent-School Liaison
To keep the parents well informed of the progress of the students and encouraging a joint monitoring system, the school arranges to hold monthly meetings on the last working day of every month. However, for any sort of inquiries during the month, the parents can approach the Principal during school hours & if necessary can see the teacher with the permission of the Principal.
8. Rules and Regulations
8.1 School’s and Classroom’s Discipline
i. Students should come to school in time and dressed properly. We do not compromise on teaching learning process therefore parents are not allowed in the classrooms. In case of any complaint please see the Principal during Visitors Hours. We always need parent’s cooperation, involvement and value able suggestions for the improvement of an ideal learning atmosphere for providing possible conducive facilities to your child
8.2 Punctuality
Students are expected to be punctual. Only under exceptional circumstances, with the prior permission of the Principal, a student may leave the school before closing hours.
8.3 Regularity
Parents are expected to inform the Principal in advance, in case their child is to remain off from the school. However, missing classes is entirely discouraged.
