SuperNova School Storm to a Convincing 9-Wicket Victory!

SuperNova School delivered a dominant all-round performance against IMCB I-8/3 in the Islamabad Region match of the PCB Talent Hunt Program – School Season 2026–27, played at Shalimar Cricket Ground, Islamabad, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Winning the toss, SuperNova elected to bowl first and immediately put pressure on the opposition.

🟢 IMCB I-8/3 – 82 All Out

IMCB I-8/3 were bowled out for just 82 runs in 17.3 overs.

Sohail Rafiq top-scored with 18, while Daniyal Abbas contributed 15. Muhammad Hur Raza and Fahad Dildar added 10 runs each.

🔥 SuperNova Bowling

Muhammad Qasim led the attack brilliantly, taking 4 wickets for 22 runs in 5 overs. M. Arham Khan produced a sensational spell, claiming 3 wickets for just 2 runs in 1.3 overs.

Zakria Baig also impressed with 2/14, while Ali Ibrahim picked up one wicket for 18 runs.

🟢 SuperNova School – 86/1

Chasing 83 for victory, SuperNova made light work of the target, reaching 86/1 in just 12.1 overs.

Abdul Haq led from the front with an unbeaten 33 off 29 balls, while Zain Ali remained unbeaten on 27 off 39 balls. Ali Ibrahim contributed 6 off 6 balls.

SuperNova completed a comprehensive 9-wicket victory.

We are pleased to share that Dr. Shabana Khan, Dr. Sadaf Abdullah, Mr. Usman Aslam, Ms. Farheen Sajid and Ms. Mamoona Saeed from SuperNova School successfully participated in the OxfordAQA professional development session for AS & A-Level Biology (9610).

SuperNova Cricket Team Clinch Thrilling 38-Run Victory!

SuperNova Cricket Team produced an impressive all-round performance to defeat Islamabad Lions Club by 38 runs in an exciting 30-overs-a-side encounter played on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Winning the toss, SuperNova elected to bat and posted a formidable 225/7 in their allotted 30 overs.

🌟 Ali Ibrahim led the charge with a magnificent 126 off 100 balls, striking 19 elegant boundaries all around the ground. He was well supported by Raja Abdullah, who contributed a valuable 32 off 33 balls, while Hasan Raza added a useful 20 off 21 balls.

With the ball, Asad was the pick of the Islamabad Lions Club attack, claiming 3 wickets for 15 runs. Ali and Aswer took one wicket each for 24 and 37 runs respectively.

🦁 Islamabad Lions Club Fight Back

Chasing 226, Islamabad Lions Club fought bravely throughout their innings but finished at 187/9 in 30 overs, falling 38 runs short.

Hasil top-scored with 26 off 19 balls, while Ali made 26 off 25 and Aswer contributed 25 off 35 balls.

SuperNova’s bowling attack held its nerve when it mattered most. Ali Ibrahim followed his magnificent century with an excellent spell, taking 2/29. Abdul Ahad claimed 2/49, while Obaid Shah returned impressive figures of 1/14.

🏆 RESULT: SuperNova Cricket Team won by 38 runs

A truly outstanding all-round display from Ali Ibrahim — 126 runs with the bat and 2 wickets with the ball — played a decisive role in SuperNova’s victory.
