Our brightest young mathematical minds gathered in Lahore for a short but intensive training camp before heading to China for their final preparations ahead of the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad, to be held in Shanghai, China (July 10–21, 2026).
Pictured here with their dedicated trainers and coaches, who have poured countless hours into shaping this team—your hard work and passion for nurturing talent is the backbone of Pakistan's mathematical excellence. 💪📐
The team now departs for China for the final training camp before the big stage. Months of hard work, sleepless nights, and problem-solving come down to this moment.

We are incredibly proud to spotlight the journey of Sualeh Asif, an exceptional alumnus of the STEM Careers Program, a joint venture of Higher Education Commission, Pakistan and PIEAS. His co-founded startup Cursor AI is set for a $60 billion acquisition deal with Elon Musk’s SpaceX. He represented Pakistan team at International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) on multiple occasions and won a bronze medal for Pakistan in 2017. His stellar performance and participation in the IMO didn’t just earn him accolades but it also paved the way for his admission into MIT. Sualeh story proves that with the right platform, Pakistani students can compete with the best and secure their place in global tech industry.
