🇵🇰🎶 Bridging Nations Through Music & Culture 🎶🇵🇹
The Portuguese Embassy in Pakistan, under the esteemed leadership of H.E. Ambassador Manuel Frederico Pinheiro da Silva, in collaboration with internationally acclaimed Portuguese guitarist Pedro Jóia and our visionary Director Wajih Nizami, proudly hosted a vibrant Music & Culture Workshop at the Rung School of Music and Arts. This inspiring initiative served as a powerful example of cultural diplomacy in action, fostering dialogue, understanding, and friendship between Portugal and Pakistan through the universal language of music.
We are deeply honoured to have welcomed Pedro Jóia—one of Portugal’s most celebrated guitarists, known for his virtuosity and fusion of classical, flamenco, and world music styles. Our heartfelt thanks to the Embassy of Portugal for championing cultural collaboration and for supporting platforms like Rung, which nurture artistic talent and promote global harmony.

We were honored to host Mr. Jan Gerald Krausser, Head of Communications, Cultural Affairs and Protocol and Ms. Shumaila Mubashir Political and Cultural Section from the German Embassy, invited by our esteemed Director Wajih Nizami. It was a proud moment as they admired our work and appreciated our efforts to preserve and promote culture through music and the arts. Their kind words and encouragement inspire us to continue our mission with even more dedication!
It’s a moment of pride for all students and faculty of Rung School as we share our creative journey and strengthen international connections.
