Mark your calendars – Season 3 of JEEP Readers Club (JRC) is set to begin soon after Eid!

Our journey continues this season with the second and final part of our last book, "The War That Saved My Life". Let's dive into the conclusion with "The War I Finally Won". by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley—a really exciting story set during World War I.

This two-book story historical fiction has won awards. You'll feel like you're right there, watching everything happen.

Girls enjoyed the book because the protagonist is a brave girl facing tough challenges. And overall, everyone in the club liked it because the story is interesting and keeps you hooked. The characters' feelings and the scenes are described so well, making it easy to picture everything in your mind.

The instructor from Season One is back with us once again. Although she's now based in the UK, she's still available for this season. Children and parents expressed their fondness for her, and she was greatly missed. However, during Season Two, she was too busy working with an NGO in Islamabad.

We'll have sessions every Saturday morning, probably from 5:00 to 6:20 p.m. - a total of four sessions in a month, with a fee of Rs. 2500 / month.

During the session, English will serve as the sole medium of communication.

We aim to finish the book within three months, and we have meticulously prepared related exercises, slides, and vocabulary to enhance the learning experience.

We might split into smaller groups to make sure everyone has ample time to participate in discussions. Each group can accommodate up to 15 members. So, sign up quickly to save your spot!

جِیپ ریڈرز کلب کا Season 3 عید کے بعد آغاز ہو رہا۔ اِس میں ہم پچھلی کتاب کا دوسرا اور فائنل پارٹ cover کریں گے۔ یعنی:

The War I Finally Won

امریکی مصنّفہ Kimberly Brubaker Bradley کے دو کتابوں پر مشتمل اِس ناول نے John Newbery Medal ایوارڈ جیت رکھا ہے۔ یہ ایک historical ناول ہے۔ اور اس کی setting پہلی جنگِ عظیم کی ہے۔ پلاٹ اور اندازِ بیان ایسا عمدہ گویا آپ پاس کھڑے یہ واقعات و مناظر اپنی آنکھوں خود دیکھ رہے ہوں۔

بچیوں نے اس لیے بھی پسند کیا کہ اس کا مرکزی کردار (protagonist) حالات سے نبرد آزما ایک باہمت لڑکی کا ہے، جبکہ مجموعی اعتبار سے کلب ممبرز کو یہ کتاب اس لیے پسند آئی کہ کہانی بہت دلچسپ اور engaging ہے۔ اِس میں شامل کرداروں کی احساسی کیفیات اور مناظر کے descriptions بہت جاندار ہیں، اور انسانی نفسیات کو بڑی عمدگی سے depict کیا گیا ہے۔

سِیزن وَن والی instructor لوٹ آئی ہیں، ہمارے ساتھ آن بورڈ ہیں۔ وہ اب ہیں تو برطانیہ میں مقیم، لیکن اِس سیزن کے لیےدستیاب ہیں۔ بچوں اور والدین نے ان کے لیے پسندیدگی کا برملا اظہار کیا تھا، وہ خود بھی miss کرتی رہیں، تاہم دوسرے سیزن کے ایام وہ یہاں اسلام آباد میں ایک NGO کے ساتھ وابستہ ہونے کی صورت از حد مصروف تھیں۔

ہر ہفتے ایک سیشن ہو گا، ہفتہ کی صبح، جس کا وقت 2 بجے سے 3:20 تک کا ہے، یعنی ایک ماہ میں کل چار سیشنز، اور اس کی فیس 2500 روپے ماہوار ہے۔ سیشن کے دوران بات چیت کا medium سو فیصد انگریزی زبان ہو گا۔

یہ کتاب تین ماہ میں ختم ہو گی۔ اس سے متعلق مشقوں، سلائیڈز، اور ووکیبولری پر کام مکمل کر لیا گیا ہے ــــ خوب باریک بینی سے!

ممکن ہے دو گروپ تشکیل پا جائیں، چونکہ ایک گروپ میں صرف 15ممبرز شرکت کر سکیں گے ــــ تا کہ کتابی مواد پر discussions کے دوران ہر بچے کو اظہارِ خیال کا موقع خوب وافر مقدار میں میسر آئے۔ داخلہ 'پہلے آئیں، پہلے پائیں' کی بنیاد پر ہو گا، چونکہ seats کی تعداد محدود ہے۔

یہ کتاب مڈل اسکول سطح کے بچوں کے لیے لکھی گئی ہے، اگرچہ ہر عمر کے بچے برابر لطف اندوز ہو سکتے ہیں۔ جِیپ کلب میں مڈل اور ہائی اسکول سطح کے بچے شرکت کر سکتے ہیں۔
