Research papers are invited for the Special Commemorative Edition of the Journal of Peace and Diplomacy (JPD) on 75 Years of China–Pakistan Diplomatic Relations (1951–2026) under the theme: Reflections, Reassessments, and the Road Ahead.
JPD is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal recognized by HEC Pakistan, carrying ISSN (Print & Online), DOI-enabled publications, and indexed in multiple international academic databases.

Diplomatic Insight Group (DIG), in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan, UNI International, Pakistan-Chinese Education Association, and partner organizations, is proud to co-host the Pakistan–China Cultural Evening commemorating 75 Years of Pakistan–China Diplomatic Relations at the Pakistan-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad.

The special evening is being graced by Mr. Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, and Mr. Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

The event celebrates the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China through culture, dialogue, heritage, artistic exchange, and people-to-people connectivity, reflecting the spirit of a shared future between the two brotherly nations.

Participants of the 7th International Young Diplomats School (IYDS) had the opportunity to attend the Freedom 250 Speaker Series featuring U.S. exchange alum Dr. Muhammad Waqar Ahmad (Professional Fellows Program 2023 alumnus) in an engaging discussion on “Investing in People: How U.S. Exchanges Build Leaders, Networks, and Impact.”

The session offered valuable insights into how U.S. exchange programs contribute to leadership development, professional growth, and long-term people-to-people connections across communities and institutions. It also provided participants with an opportunity to learn more about international exchange opportunities and alumni engagement initiatives.

We are grateful to the U.S. Embassy Public Diplomacy Department, headed by Heather C. Murphy, Public Diplomacy Officer at the US Embassy Islamabad and her outstanding team, for extending this opportunity to the IYDS participants as part of their broader public diplomacy engagement efforts.
