In golf, power is seldom a function of physical strength; rather it is a function of technique and right process. Any lapse in technique and process robs away the power- golfer’s ultimate desire to hit the ball longer covering more distance. In golf, process starts with “you get what you set for”. The rituals of standing and posturing at the right distance from the ball coupled with the technique of moving the club and the body in right direction determine the power coefficient. Similarly, in leadership, information collection (process) for informed decision-making (technique) empowers a leader as opposed to ill-informed and immature ju**ie making compulsive and poor decisions. Poor decisions often lower a leader’s image resulting in loss of respect, disengagement and disempowerment. In leadership, process starts with the attainment of cutting edge knowledge and information, which enables them to become more powerful who in turn then differentiate themselves from others through the influence of art of decision-making (technique).
