400+ applications received from across Pakistan! The selection begins.

The DEFTECH Incubation Program Selection Board will take place on 28–29 September at NSTP, with shortlisted startups and SMEs presenting their Defence & Dual-Use technology ventures to a panel of experts from industry, academia, and NSTP.

The evaluation will focus on the ventures’ technology, market potential, business model, and readiness to scale, with solutions spanning AI, Robotics, IoT, Aerospace, Cybersecurity, and Drones.

The program is being delivered by NSTP in collaboration with The AKD Group
bringing together technology expertise, industry connections, and investment opportunities for emerging Defence & Dual-Use ventures.

From a NUST student idea to a global AI platform.

Vyro was founded by three brothers, Ahmed, Abdullah and Zain. Two of them were students at SEECS, NUST, and the venture started its journey in Hatch 8 Cohort 1 at NSTP.

Today, Vyro's flagship platform, , brings together 50+ AI-powered creative tools for generating images, videos, music, ads and more. The company has crossed $30M in annual recurring revenue and serves users in global markets, including the U.S.

Its latest milestone: ImagineArt is now available directly inside ChatGPT with a simple mention, which puts Vyro's tools in front of one of the world's largest AI audiences. Vyro is one of several Hatch 8 ventures that have reached significant scale. Other alumni are now generating $100M+ in annual recurring revenue.

This is what Hatch 8 is built for: giving early-stage founders the support, mentorship and access to turn a promising idea into a scalable business.

NSTP has concluded its 27th Selection Board.

More than 50 startups and SMEs applied, of which 25 were shortlisted to present before a panel comprising experts from industry, academia, and NSTP. A total of 19 companies presented their business models during the selection process.

The Selection Board was chaired by Director NSTP, Engineer Amer Sheikh, with the participating judges evaluating the shortlisted ventures and their potential for growth within the NSTP ecosystem.

Through such selection processes, NSTP continues to identify and support promising ventures with the potential to innovate, grow, and contribute to Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.
