One Day training session on Job Hunting & Professional Networking Skills was conducted in continuation of the series of training sessions conducted by AUSOM. On Tuesday, 2nd June, the training was organized by Ms. Sadia Khan at AUSOM Auditorium, H-11, South Campus. The training session was arranged to guide students about career development, professional growth, and the skills required to succeed in today’s evolving professional environment. Students were introduced to practical career-building strategies and modern workplace expectations.
The session covered key areas such as CV development, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, personal branding, professional networking, and effective job search strategies.
Through interactive discussions and real-world insights, students developed a better understanding of market expectations and acquired competencies that can enhance their employability and career readiness. The training strengthened students' confidence and equipped them with the tools needed to pursue meaningful employment opportunities in an increasingly competitive job market.
This initiative directly supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Goal 4: Quality Education, by providing students with relevant skills for employment and lifelong learning. It also contributes to Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by enhancing employability, promoting productive employment opportunities, and preparing graduates for successful participation in the workforce. Furthermore, the collaboration between academia and industry professionals reflects Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, fostering knowledge sharing and strengthening connections between educational institutions and the private sector to support sustainable career development.
Collectively, the training significantly enhanced students' confidence, employability skills, and awareness of contemporary recruitment practices, making it a highly impactful initiative that will contribute positively to their future careers.

AUSOM organized an industrial visit to Neuron Solutions Pvt. Ltd. on 5th May, 2026. The visit was organized by Ms. Sadia Khan for BBA 7 students under the banner of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing. The session offered valuable practical exposure to the operations of a modern IT services firm. Dr. Mohsin Zahid, Founder and CEO Neuron Solutions, introduced students to the company’s core activities, including web development, enterprise solutions, and digital transformation, highlighting its contribution to Pakistan’s growing knowledge-based economy.
The visit aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. By engaging students in real-world learning, the visit enhanced their practical knowledge, critical thinking, and employability skills, supporting the objective of inclusive and quality education.
Additionally, the company’s role in the IT sector reflects contributions to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, as it promotes technological innovation and supports digital infrastructure development in Pakistan. A field trip to the National Institute of Health (NIH), Chak Shahzad was arranged on 20th May 2026 by GC Tahir Sultan (Retd) and Ms. Novaira, Program Manager of BS Healthcare Management (BSHCM), for the students of the program. The visit was supervised and managed by Sir Ayyaz Kiyani and Sir Mustahsan Elahi, who accompanied the students throughout the trip. During the visit, students explored various departments and laboratories, including the Sera Laboratory, where vaccines are developed and tested, and the Nutrition Laboratory, where nutritional analyses and research activities are conducted. The students also attended an informative lecture delivered by Ms. Maria, a Senior Scientific Officer and Federal Public Analyst. In her session, she discussed infection control strategies in healthcare settings and highlighted the role of NIH during the COVID-19 pandemic. She further explained the importance of preventing hospital-associated infections (HAIs) and shared key disease prevention and control measures. The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure and enhanced their understanding of public health, laboratory operations, and infection prevention practices.

In an effort to connect theoretical learning with real-world airline operations, the Aviation Society organized the 4th 3-Day "Airline Business Management" Workshop for 40 BSAvM students on May 19-21, 2026.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Irfan Ullah, Revenue Management Consultant HITIT.
