With profound grief and a heavy heart, we mourn the passing of Prof. M***i Jamiluddin Ahmad, an exceptional teacher, mentor, and scholar. He served with great distinction as Former Head of the Department of Mass Communication at NUML and Director General (Retd.), Associated Press of Pakistan (APP). For many of us, he was not only an academic leader but one of the finest teachers whose wisdom and guidance shaped generations of journalists and communication professionals.

Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered InshaAllah on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, at 11:00 AM at H-8 Graveyard, Islamabad.

May Allah Almighty grant him the highest ranks in Jannah, forgive his shortcomings, and give patience and strength to his family, students, colleagues, and loved ones. Ameen

With a very heavy heart, we share that Sanaullah, who was severely injured in the NUML Iqbal Block gas leakage incident, passed away today at 3:30 AM. A young life full of dreams, gone too soon😢 May Allah Pak grant him Jannah and give his family immense sabr in this unbearable time. Please keep him in your prayers.

Please ensure strict safety measures in every block. No more lives should be lost like this. This pain is too heavy, too heartbreaking. 💔
