Liberating The Girl Child Foundation

Liberating The Girl Child Foundation LGCF has now evolved into a full fledged program with more than 500 registered members.

The idea was formed and conceived by Neha Omair, then a student of 7th grade who began a research project for her community research work, on the education system in Pakistan. This class room project when presented at an international level (PEOPLE TO PEOPLE PROGRAM at the Harvard University in summer 2010 received an overwhelming appreciation. It aims to promote gender equality in education in Pakistan where female education is limited or non existent beyond the primary level. To curtail the drop out level after primary school and to provide equal opportunities of education to the under privileged sections of the society with special emphasis on the girl child.

A Historic Day Indeed as this collaboration will bring enormous opportunities to support the flourishing legal sector in Pakistan.
