🚀 We're Hiring: On-Demand Workshop Demonstrator – Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analysis (SRMA)

Organization: The Freelance Bubble
Type: Freelance | Remote | Workshop-Based

Are you passionate about research, evidence synthesis, and teaching? The Freelance Bubble is looking for experienced Workshop Demonstrators to lead live, interactive online workshops on Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analysis (SRMA). This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while helping researchers, healthcare professionals, and academics build practical, industry-relevant skills.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Conduct live, hands-on workshops covering the complete SRMA workflow, including research question formulation, protocol development, literature searching, screening, data extraction, risk of bias assessment, and meta-analysis.
🔹 Demonstrate practical use of tools such as RevMan, R (metafor/meta), Rayyan, Covidence, JBI SUMARI, EPPI-Reviewer, or similar software using real or anonymized datasets.
🔹 Prepare engaging workshop resources, including presentations, protocols, extraction sheets, exercises, checklists, and code/scripts.
🔹 Facilitate interactive learning through Q&A sessions, guided exercises, breakout discussions, and practical demonstrations tailored to different experience levels.

Requirements

✅ Master's or PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field.
✅ Hands-on experience conducting PRISMA-based Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses.
✅ Proficiency in at least two SRMA tools, such as RevMan, R, Rayyan, Covidence, JBI SUMARI, or EPPI-Reviewer.
✅ Experience delivering workshops, webinars, or online training sessions.
✅ Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Engagement

📍 Freelance | Remote | Workshop-Based

Each engagement is planned per workshop or cohort, with scope, schedule, and compensation agreed in advance. High-performing demonstrators will have opportunities for future workshops as demand grows.
