Today, President students academic council met with Captain (r) Zahid Saeed
Secretary, Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination at 1st Annual Health Research Conference. He reminded the Secretary about the promises of Health Minister regarding the Building for college & hostel for FMDC students. He discussed in detail the feasibility and hurdles related to the issues and assured to put forward our demands to PM asap.

Annual Dinner Will be On 10th September At Saffron.
Whosoever Wants to take part in Qirat, Naat, Comparing, Stage Performances like Skit, Song, Dance, Funny Qawali, Stand Up Comedy etc should report at 11 am in Fmdc. Dr Shemaila Saleem will take auditions.
Moreover who wants to be a part of Decore Team, Protocol, Hall and Management Team and Media and Sounds should submit his/her name to CR/Dcr of his/her class.

Assalam o alaikum! PM has called a meeting tomorrow with Principal FMDC and other concerned authorities to discuss the issues of FMDC. The three point agenda of building including hostel, Faculty and budget will be demanded. We are hoping some good news to be announced soon. The postgraduate induction issue is also raised by council and a summary regarding provision of parent institute marks along with government institute marks will be processed in coming days. The House officers giving late joining due to supple are communicated to be provided with 9 month paid house job. However, further communication with CADD and ED is in progress for its extension to 12 months. We are continuously trying our best to put forward our issues to the concerned authorities and are hoping to see results in near future. May Allah bless us all.

FMDC students academic council is going to celebrate this Independence day by planting new trees. All the students, faculty and staff of FMDC are encouraged to plant at least one tree in their surroundings and post that plantation picture on the plantation event's page for others motivation. Principal FMDC Dr. Tanwir Khaliq is enthusiastic for this positive compaign and will conclude this activity on 14th of August 2018 by himself planting a tree in FMDC at 9 am in a formal Independence day celebration. All the faculty, staff and students of FMDC are motivated to actively participate in this compaign by planting a tree, posting it on fb page and being present on 14th August in college to celebrate Independence day. Thanks!

Dear Fellows
Following issues are being resolved by the council:

1. The foremost issue that FMDC students are facing right now is the un-paid House Job for our graduates. We sent a letter regarding this issue to CADD. After taking notice CADD has asked the Executive director of PIMS regarding this matter. This issue will be resolved within days after formal communication b/w them In'sha'Allah.

2. HEC need based scholarship. We have made a lot of progress regarding this issue. As per requirement of the scholarship a comittee is being formed. Soon we will be eligible for the scholarship.

3. College magazine. For the first time in FMDC a student magazine will be published.

4. FMDC Alumni. We are forming our college Alumni. Which will be a great platform in which we will be able to connect all the old and new students. This will proove very helpful for the guidance of new batches.

5. Junoon '18. Our first intercollege event is being organised by the council. A lot of effort from all the students are making this possible.

6. Boys' Hostel. We are searching for a government building. A few buildings are under our consideration. We will have a government sponsored hostel very soon.

Boys k government hostel k liey building dhondhny k liey aur CADD ko proposal send krny k liey college main committee bna di g*i hai. FMDC ko SZABMU ka contituent bnany ka kaam bhi jari hai aur Hmary students ab HEC need based scholarship k forms fill kr k students affairs section main Raza ko jama krwa skty hain.

Assala mu alaikum! Secretary CADD visited the college today! Some of the students and parents met him and we discussed the main issues related to college! Following points were highlighted 1)The college should be a constituent part of university. 2) The PIERA building should be vacated ASAP! 3)The issue of buses allocation for day scholars and boys hostel were also raised during meeting! The secretary has ensured that we will see changes in 2 months and his utmost priorty is to make the college constituent of SZAMBU and development of the proper purpose ful building for college!

Assalam o alaikum. Secretary CADD is visiting FMDC on Friday 6 July at 9 am to discuss the issues of FMDC raised by us via a letter previously. Now Dr. Zafar Maken has said that at least 20-30 day scholar students should be present in college to meet him and discuss the important issues of our college. Especially those students who can speak and represent our issues effectively are encouraged to go and meet him. The day scholar students going on Friday can message me so that I can share more details with them. Thanks!

College Magazine is going to be published in August/September inshaAllah. So, we need our writers, photographers and artists to show their talent for making this first college magazine glorious. College magazine will basically comprise of the following sections:

- Introduction of our college
also including mission statement and Principal's message.

-The High Achiever section
(Distinguished toppers' accounts and other achievers)

- Research and Innovation

- Teaching Hospital (PIMS) and its credentials

- Cultural Diversity (local languages and culture promotion) Cultural diversity main har culture (Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashtu, Balochi, Gilgati) sy related writing, art, food, music, humor etc anything will be acceptable to be published after proofreading.

- Creative Writing: The Creative writing comprising of original articles, essays, short stories, humorous articles, iqtabasats, poetry both nazam and gazal will be bilingual (English and Urdu).

- Art and Design: artwork/painting either general or related to cultural diversity

(Reviews, recommendations, and memories can be shared in both languages, i.e., Urdu and English.)

- My City:
My college, my city section will depict the people, resorts, events, weather and sites of Islamabad in form of pictures and reviews by college students so that the ones willing to join FMDC can know about the capital city.

- Event Reviews:
Review corner in which the events of college like sports week, annual dinner, welcome, farewell party, carnivals and other activities throughout the year will be reviewed by students based on their personal experiences. Pictures of these events will also be displayed. All photographers are requested to contribute.

- Sports and Athletics

- Tours and trips: Trips and tour section will cover group pictures of college trips. Photographers revisit your collection of pictures

- Alumni (Pass outs)
The alumni section will share the memories of the pass out students.

- Memories:
Memorable events of currently studying students

- Recommendations and Suggestions: Recommendations section will give recommendations for study schedule, books, movies, activities and work out etc.

- Future Endeavors and Dreamers Section

- Faculty Autographs and wise words

So all the creative folks of fmdc, grasp your pens and start writing according to our described pattern. All the photographers and editors are also requested to be ready. Together we are going to bring a wonderful magazine this year inshaAllah. Call for Ideas and RoadMap:
Assalam o alaikum! We are planning to inaugurate FMDC Alumni at this annual dinner. We are currently working on college magazine as well and will soon announce the pattern and will ask for the submissions. We need a beautiful name for our college magazine. And we will also try to arrange at least one day seminar/conference on Medical Research in which all the medical colleges of Islamabad/Rawalpindi will be invited inshaAllah.
So students from all the classes having any experience, idea or better plan for the proper working of Alumni, College Magazine Name and pattern and arrangements/pattern required for conducting research seminar can inbox their ideas. Your contribution in this regard will be highly appreciated for bringing some positive change in FMDC. Thanks!
