Important Guidelines to Get Good Marks in Board Exams
⭐ 1. Learn to use markers properly.
For solving board papers, you must have these markers: Dollar 604, 605 (Blue), Dollar white cap simple marker, and Dollar 604 black marker (black marker can be used for writing question numbers or drawing boxes around diagrams).
⭐ 2. Try to use the same wording as given in the textbook for definitions and explanations, because it is more concise and accurate.
⭐ 3. Always use a good-quality blue ink pen.
Try to use the same pen that you practiced with throughout the year in your board exams. If possible, prefer using Pelikan ink.
⭐ 4. Avoid using rough pencils, ink remover, pointer, or gel pens.
However, biology students especially should draw diagrams with a pencil first. Once completed, outline them with a pen or marker. This reduces mistakes because pencil marks can be erased, but pen marks cannot.
⭐ 5. Avoid cutting and overwriting as much as possible.
⭐ 6. Write neatly and clearly.
Learn the skill of using headings. Remember, a well-presented paper guarantees better marks.
⭐ 7. Science students should keep a good scientific or non-programmable engineering calculator and learn to use it quickly. Many students make mistakes because they don’t know how to use a calculator properly.
⭐ 8. Most importantly, trust in Allah, the prayers of your parents and teachers, and your own hard work and ability.
