Dear EMA members,
My time as a president of South Asian Chapter is about to come to close. During past three years, our chapter has put great effort into promoting Erasmus+ scholarships in South Asian region and have seen impact of our work in numbers reflected by scholarship applications and the spread of awareness towards higher education abroad. There were many great times for us during these three years and we really enjoyed ourselves on the way also equipping ourselves with pretty valuable soft skills.

The elections for the position of new President, Vice President, Promotional Coordinator and Chapter Affairs coordinator for South Asian Chapter are open. You need to login in to the community portal (https://community.em-a.eu/) and cast your votes for the best candidates. The motivation of each of them are available in a pdf file. If you are not yet a member of the community portal (those of you who won a scholarship for or studied on self finance an Erasmus Mundus action 1, EMJMD or EMJD programme are eligible to become members) please sign up as soon as possible to be able to vote.

Please take your chance to elect people who can take the chapter forward.

Marie Curie RISE Grants in any Fields
RISE ( Research and Innovation Staff Exchange) for exchange of your University (HEI) Staff (PhD students, researchers, Technical Staff, Post Docs, Managerial Staff) or SME (Small, Medium Enterprise) Staff (Technical, Managerial) with partners in Europe including Universities and SMEs
Apply for this grant after finding the partners including Universities/ SMEs in your relevant areas in Europe and start exchange from 1 to 12 months highly paid by Marie Curie Rise Grant

** University staff/SMEs can make MoUs with universities/ SMEs Europe and send their researchers at any level and PhD students, Post Docs, technical staff, managerial staff to gain practical experiences in SMEs and Universities etc.

You can find SMEs/ Universities for partnering in Europe in 28 States plus 5 equal to 33 in total which includes Turkey as well

** SO university professors, please take it seriously and students in any fields especially non technical/social sciences etc and technical fields as well, please send these details to your professors, so that they can try for it and if their proposal get accepted. Then, you will be going as researcher to companies, or universities in Europe, fully funded

RISE grant success rate is more than other projects under Marie Curie.

Support is provided for the development of partnerships in the form of a joint research and innovation project. This is aimed at knowledge sharing via international as well as intersectoral mobility, based on secondments of research and innovation staff (exchanges) with an in-built return mechanism.

Last Date to apply for it is : 05 April, 2017

Dear all, if you know some organizations, NGOs, Foundations, Enterprises working in broad fields of Youth, Training, Education can get funding and partnerships opportunities with organizations, Enterprise, NGOs in Europe and funding by Erasmus+. Also if you or your organization in working is 05 specific fields Women’s (economic) empowerment, Sexual and reproductive health rights, Food processing, Trade promotion, Water management, Human rights. Then you can go on training / courses to Holland.

Dear all professors, teachers in universities and students studying at any level in universities (BS, MS, PhD) bring your universities to do Exchange programs with European Universities. If students spread this information to your professors, lecturers in your universities, and your professors apply for it, then there are chances that in 2017 you will be going for exchange to European universities
1) If the project gets approved, then you can go to Europe if you are a professor , student or staff
2) Universities can get the money to spend on enhancing resources in capacity building projects
