Parents find it very confusing when schools and students talk about CIE and Edexcel. Some of the students themselves are not sure what each of these really mean. It could help knowing a little, so we decided to put it up here for you.

When students choose their subjects for O/A Levels they may also have the choice to choose their exam board (depending on whether the school offers exams from both boards or not). The examination boards available are: CIE and Edexcel.

CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) is a department of the University of Cambridge that provides international qualifications for 5 - 19 year olds. It can be considered an 'international board' just like we have different educational boards in Pakistan that grade Matriculation and other local examinations.

Edexcel, a Pearson company, awarding bodies offering academic and
vocational qualifications and testing to schools, colleges, employers and other places of learning in the UK and internationally.

They may have differences in syllabus specifications but are both recognised by colleges and universities around the world.

We all go through the phase of choosing our career path and the first step on the path is choosing the right subjects at the right time.
A lot of people decide to NOT take accounting in their O' Levels because they think accounting is about math. We'll soon be shooting down this myth, and others, to help you decide whether accounting is really the choice for you and what possibilities your future holds if you've chosen the subject.

Whether you are planning to take Accounting as a subject in O/A Levels, or have already opted for it but don't have your basics straight - we'll help you. Stay tuned for updates.

The student navigation programme provides you with mentors to help you with tough concepts and subjects you hate simply because you never understood why they even existed. (We'll also change that for you).
We also provide you with a space for combined studies with the environment that is just right!

The O' Levels Principles of Accounts workshops will be announced soon. This workshop is for all those students who either plan to take the subject in their O' Levels or have already opted for it but are having trouble understanding the basics.

The workshop will be a summation of the Accounting syllabus. Parents may wish to tag along if they want.

We are planning to hold free study sessions for certain topics that you find particularly difficult in your O' Levels Principles of Accounts, Economics and Business Studies. Tell us what topics these are and we'll announce whne the study sessions will be.
