KG students learned a range of compound words using a blend of educational and non-educational technology resources. Teachers explained the concept well through white board & flashcards followed by a song. Later students used flashcards to make compound words. An online game was used to further reinforce the concept. All activities planned for the lesson brought fun in students' learning.

With educational technology involved, the classroom can be a much happier place!. These pre nursery students can be seen revising the vocabulary of letter ‘s’ and relating them to its sound through a variety of educational and non-educational technology resources. Tablets in kitchen corner provided them an opportunity to virtually experience making soup, salad and sandwich thus also improved their listening and speaking skills. A sand paper and sand tray followed by tracing letter ‘s’ using app on tablet was a fruitful strategy by the teacher to make sure that students learn to write letter ‘s’ following correct directions.
