Another demonstration of the everlasting friendship of Pakistan and China has come to the fore. The Chinese child gave his savings for the flood victims of Pakistan. The chinese people's love for the Pakistani people is timeless, for which another proof has come to light. A Chinese child reached the bank with the savings collected for the New Year and donated the money to help the flood-affected children in Pakistan.

Institute of Regional Studies hosted a panel of eminent speakers on "CPEC: Challenges & Opportunities: The way forward". The speakers discussed various facts of CPEC, Blue Economy, Regional Connectivity, and Industrial development. It was emphasized by the Minister of State & Chairman BOI that the industrial cooperation chapter of CPEC is all-inclusive and open for third-country participation. Chinese scholars also joined via zoom and shared their thoughts for the CPEC venture. Some pictorial highlights of the conference are shared below!

China 30 years ago & Now.

The History of tea begins in ancient China. It has a history of 5000 years. As per record, a chinese emperor Shen Nung first discovered tea in 2737 B.C.
China has hundreds of different types of tea.
The Annual Chinese Tea Party 2021 was held today at Confucius Institute, Islamabad in collaboration with Area Study China Department, NUML. The Chinese tea ceremony was conducted by Dr. Moaaz Awan.
Five different types of chinese tea including 普洱茶( Puer Tea) , 小白茶 (White Tea), 铁观音 (Tieguanyin Tea), 西湖龙井 (West Lake Longjing Tea) & 茉莉花茶 (Jasmine Tea) was served to guests and students.
The Director of Confucius Institute Dr. Zhang Wei, Director of BS. Area Studies Dr. Waseem and respected teachers of Area Studies CHINA department had attended the ceremony.

China attaches great importance to the Palestinian issue, and supports the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore the legitimate rights of the nation.
