Following AU Vision and Mission statements were drafted after detailed discussions and deliberations with all stake holders.


VISION Air University aspires to be among the leading national universities, excelling in teaching, learning, research, innovation and public service.


MISSION The mission of Air University is to achieve excellence in teaching and research for producing graduates with sound professional knowledge, integrity of character, a keen sense of social responsibility and a passion for lifelong learning. The University shall stand committed to creating an environment conducive for attracting the best students, faculty and supporting staff for contributing to the development of a prosperous, peaceful and enlightened society.


AU being a progressive Higher Education Institute has added Faculty of Aerospace Sciences and strategic studies (FASS) and is also planning to establish a medical college shortly. AU has acquired additional land at Islamabad (H-9 Sector) and Multan for the enhancement of Infrastructure to undertake new programs.



Keeping in view the expansion in infrastructure and launching of new programs, the vision and Mission statements need to be reviewed by involving all stake holders (Faculty, Staff and Students). Participation from all segments and tiers is considered vital for evolving the best Mission and Vision statements, keeping in view HEI’s role in teaching, research and community services.



To encourage maximum participation, Vice Chancellor has very kindly approved the following prizes for drafting the Vision and Mission statements.



Vision Statement


1st Prize : Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousands only)
2nd Prize : Rs. 5000/- (Five Thousand only)


Mission Statement


1st Prize : Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousands only)
2nd Prize : Rs. 5000/- (Five Thousand only)
(Note: All Faculty members, staff and students are eligible to participate)
