Iqra University Chak Shahzad Campus proudly celebrated the International Day of Education, emphasizing the transformative role of education in building knowledgeable, inclusive, and resilient societies. As part of the celebration, a Book Exhibition was organized to promote reading culture, critical thinking, and lifelong learning among students. The exhibition encouraged intellectual curiosity and highlighted the importance of access to knowledge as a foundation for personal and social development.
The celebration reflected the spirit of empowering minds through inclusive, innovative, and lifelong learning, while nurturing skills, confidence, and leadership for a brighter tomorrow. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting learning opportunities, SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by encouraging equal access to knowledge, SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through informed and responsible citizenship, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering collaboration within the academic community.

Students of the 3rd Semester of BS Psychology program at Iqra University Chak Shahzad Campus visited Maimona Welfare Trust, Rawalpindi, as part of their Community Engagement Project for the Civics and Community Engagement course, under the supervision of Ms. Areeba Saleem. The visit aimed to enhance student's understanding of community welfare, social responsibility, and the practical application of psychological concepts in real-life settings. Through this hands-on experience, students developed empathy, civic awareness, and a deeper appreciation of inclusive community development. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

On the occasion of the International Day of Education, students of the Psychology Club at Iqra University Chak Shahzad Campus (IUCS) organized an awareness camp titled “Education and Mental Well-Being: Building Resilient Minds through Learning.”
The camp focused on promoting emotional intelligence, stress management, psychological resilience, self-awareness, and healthy coping strategies among students. Through interactive activities, counseling guidance, and informative discussions, the initiative emphasized the importance of mental well-being as a foundation for effective learning and personal growth. The activity was successfully conducted under the supervision of Ms. Rida E. Zehra, fostering a supportive and mentally healthy academic environment.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education) through holistic learning, SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-Being) by promoting mental health awareness, and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by ensuring inclusive access to psychological support and education for all students.
