The Department of International Relations and Institute of Islamic Studies and Sharia have arranged an interdepartmental debate on *"Islam and Secularism,"* to be held on Sunday 9 July 2023 at MY auditorium. Scholars of MS/MPhil and Ph.D. from the Department of IR and Institute of Islamic Studies will have a healthy and intellectual debate on the nature and scope of the relationship between Islam and Secularism. The HoD of IR (Dr. Raziq Hussain) and the Director Institute of Islamic Studies and Sharia (Dr. Hafiz Mohsin Zia Qazi) will be moderators of the event. The program will be started at 10 AM.

The Board of Studies meeting held on Monday 5th June at 10 o'clock in Conference hall MY University. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohsin Zia Qazi Deen of Institute of Islamic Studies and Shariah. Dr Munir, Deen Faculty of Social Sciences joined this meeting as the member and Dr. Manzoor Al-Azhari, associate Professor of High Tech University joined as an external expert. The faculty of Institute of Islamic Studies and Shariah Dr Kokab assistant Professor, Dr Ramazan assistant professor and Dr Bushra assistant professor were also
present there.
The programmes of BS, ADP and Bridge sallybus approved by meeting and farwaded to higher authority for approval. The meeting ended with good hope of introducing new programmes in future.

The Institute of Islamic Studies and Shariah recently organized a groundbreaking Research Workshop in the university's prestigious Auditorium. The event revolved around the captivating topic of (علوم اسلامیہ میں تحقیق کے جدید میدان اور موضوعات), shedding light on its significance in today's world.
We were honored to have Dr. Khursheed Ahmed Saeedi, a renowned expert in Usuluddin (Islamic Studies) from IIUI, as the esteemed Guest Speaker. His profound knowledge and insights left the audience spellbound, enriching their understanding of the subject matter.
The workshop concluded with an engaging Questions and Answers session, where students eagerly interacted with Dr. Khursheed Ahmed Saeedi, discussing various aspects of "علوم اسلامیہ میں تحقیق کے جدید میدان اور موضوعات" and gaining invaluable knowledge from his expertise.
