If you want your children to grow up kind, respectful, and loved by everyone, teach them these 7 habits from an early age.
One of the biggest problems among children today is the lack of respect, good manners, and obedience. Many children speak loudly in front of elders, do not listen to their parents, argue with older people, and hesitate to admit their mistakes.
If we want our children to have good character, we must start teaching them while they are still young.
Teach your children these 7 beautiful habits:
1️⃣ Teach them to greet everyone with "Assalamu Alaikum" and encourage them to greet others first.
2️⃣ Teach them to listen respectfully to their parents, teachers, and elders, and obey them.
3️⃣ Teach them to offer water to guests and elders and to help serve them.
4️⃣ Teach them to speak politely, use kind words, and never interrupt others while they are talking.
5️⃣ Teach them to say "I'm sorry." When they make a mistake, encourage them to apologize sincerely. Also, apologize in front of your children when you make a mistake. Children learn more from what they see than from what they are told. Many children find it difficult to apologize because of pride, but if they learn this habit from childhood, they will grow up to be humble, honest, and willing to admit their mistakes.
6️⃣ Teach them to use kind words like "JazakAllahu Khairan," "Thank you," "Please," and "Excuse me" in their daily conversations.
7️⃣ Teach them to love younger people, respect their elders, tell the truth, keep things clean, and help their parents.
🌸 Remember: Children do not become what we tell them to be—they become what they see us doing. If your home is filled with greetings, forgiveness, respect, and good manners, these qualities will become part of your children's character.
"Good manners, greeting others, and saying sorry never make a person smaller—they earn respect and love in people's hearts.
