We proudly congratulates AI Team Lead Usama Athar on securing the prestigious DAAD Fully Funded PhD Studentship in Germany.

During his time at Machine Vision and Intelligent Systems Lab, Usama played a pivotal role in shaping our research direction under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Moazam Fraz and Dr. Zuhair Zafar. His contributions to AI4EO, computer vision, and vision-language modeling have left a lasting impact.

We are delighted to organize and host a 4-day Intensive Training on Applied AI & Data Science for Environmental Sustainability as part of our UKRI funded S2Cool project. This workshop is more than a learning exercise; it aims to build high-velocity AI pipelines that address critical climate and urban cooling challenges.

Over the course of 4 days, our participants will be working under the guidance of our experienced trainers to bridge the gap between research and deployment:
