'Īd Fiqh Reminder
According to the School of Madīnah

The Takbīrāt of the Days of Minā are

الله أكبر الله أكبر

لا إله إلّا الله

الله أكبر الله أكبر

ولله الحمد

Allāhu Akbar Allāhu Akbar

Lā ilāha illallāh

Allāhu Akbar Allāhu Akbar

Walillāhil-Hamd

Allāh is Greater! Allāh is Greater!

There is no god but Allāh

Allāh is Greater! Allāh is Greater!

And to Allāh be praise!

They are to be said:

-On the way to 'Īd & while waiting for the Imām

-For the Imām to say in his Khutbah & the congregation to say with him

-After every Fard prayer from Zuhr on 'Īd through 'Asr on the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah

Magnify the praises of Allāh for His guidance & beseech His help for the Ummah in all matters, spiritual & worldly.

When saying the Takbīr remember that He did not make any Pharaoh, except He made a sea, which is waiting impatiently to drown him, his ministers & his entire army.

Make sure to go to the 'Īd prayer fasting from dawn, anxious that the Lord should accept your sacrifice from you.

If He does, then your 'Īd is ten thousand times Mubārak.

The first thing to eat from is one's own sacrifice.

Is anything in this world enjoyed without sacrifice?

Brothers, wear your best clothes to 'Īd & put on your best perfume.

Sisters, come to the prayer in simple dress & wear your best attire for your loved ones.

Give sadaqah on your way to & fro.

Allāh shower His grace on the one who shows beauty on this day inwardly & out.

Come to the prayer in humility.

Beseech the Lord in it fervently.

Go to the biggest gathering of the pious you can.

Allāh loves His Awliyā.

If one of them is there & says Āmīn, Allāh will accept from them all.

May you meet someone so beloved, that you too are colored in His love.
