𝐊𝐔𝐅𝐏𝐄𝐂 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐈𝐔𝐈

A distinguished delegation from 𝑲𝒖𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒕 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝑷𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒖𝒎 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐. 𝑳𝒕𝒅 (𝑲𝑼𝑭𝑷𝑬𝑪) visited Faculty of Engineering and Technology at IIUI. The delegation, led by 𝑴𝒓. 𝑨𝒍𝒊 𝑨𝒍-𝑻𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒎𝒊, included members Usman Ali, M. Naseer Anjum, Khurram Waqqas, Farooq Azam, Ovais Rashid, Khaled Al-Athainah, Abdul Ghafoor Anjum, Akbar Ali Asif, Tafheem Ur Rehman, Aslam Hayat, and Bakhtawar Malik, along with their staff.

The delegation was warmly received by 𝑫𝒓. 𝑺𝒂𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝑩𝒂𝒅𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒉 (Dean FET) and 𝑫𝒓. 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒅 𝑰𝒌𝒓𝒂𝒎 (Chairman DECE), along with their teams. As part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the delegation performed a tree plantation ceremony, planting precious species like 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒂 𝑵𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒔𝒂, 𝑩𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒎𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒔 around the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DECE) and Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME) buildings. Both teams expressed their mutual appreciation for the efforts towards making Pakistan greener.

Following the plantation activity, the delegation toured the DME labs and engaged in a comprehensive meeting with the Dean FET and Chairman DECE. The discussions focused on exploring future collaborations and 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 for the students of FET, aiming to strengthen the bridge between academia and industry.

Congratulations!!
The students of all respective departments of Faculty of Engineering and Technology received first installment of projects funded under Funds for PEC Financing of Final Year Design Projects (2023-2024).

The prize distribution ceremony was held at Air University Islamabad. One group from Dept. of Civil Engineering namely Mr. Muhammad Ali & Umer Atif supervisor Engr. Dr. Muhammad Arsalan, Civil Department. Two student groups (male and female) from Dept. of Electrical Engineering namely Mubashar Shahzad , Tanzir Hassan , Muhammad Ahsaan Samra Nasir, Laraib Abbas, Areeba Abbas, supervised by Engr Dr. Amjad Khattak and Dr. Aleem Khaliq respectively. Two groups from Dept. of Mechanical Engineering include Muhammad Saad Arshad, Muhammad Huzaifa, Fawad Hussain. (1) Muhammad Hassnain (2) Suleman-Bin-Siraj (3) Raja Daniyal Abbasi supervised by Engr. Asad Asghar Janjua and Engr. Muhammad Ibrahim respectively.
