🌙 Eid Milad-un-Nabi Mubarak 🌙

Today marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, a man whose life was built on compassion for the overlooked, and an unwavering belief in the power of knowledge.

He ﷺ taught that seeking knowledge is a duty upon every believer, and that no child, no matter their circumstances or ability, should be left behind. He showed unmatched gentleness toward the vulnerable, the disabled, and the marginalized, at a time when the world offered them none.

At AIEF, this is the mission we carry forward, every day. Through the Abilities Ignite School System, our Catalyst Cohort, and every classroom we build for neurodiverse learners, we're trying to live out a small part of what he ﷺ taught: that every mind deserves the chance to learn, and every child deserves to be seen.

"Ongoing charity and beneficial knowledge outlive us." — Sahih Muslim 1631

On this blessed occasion, if our mission resonates with you, we'd be honoured to have you stand with us. Every contribution helps a child who thinks differently find a place where they belong.

Most classrooms aren't built for every kind of learner. Here's what one that actually is looks like. 👇🤍

5 signs a classroom is truly inclusive:

1️⃣ Every child can participate, no matter the path they take to learn.
2️⃣ Differences feel normal. No child is singled out for needing help.
3️⃣ The space is sensory-aware: calm lighting, less noise, more comfort.
4️⃣ Peers support each other. Inclusion isn't just adult-led.
5️⃣ It's practiced every day, not just talked about.

This is what AIEF is building, one classroom at a time. 💛

Tag a teacher or parent who needs to see this. And if you believe every child deserves a classroom like this, follow along as we keep building it.

A moment AIEF is truly proud of. 🤍
"Listening to the Unheard" brought together 10+ organisations for an afternoon of honest conversation, shared learning, and genuine collaboration.

At AIEF, we believe change happens when people show up for each other, and today was proof of that. From new connections to meaningful dialogue, this is exactly the kind of community we want to keep building.

This won't be a one-time moment. We're taking "Listening to the Unheard" monthly, so more organisations, more conversations, and more collective impact are on the way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this possible. 🤝

Something new is growing at AIEF.

For years, we've worked toward one belief: every child deserves an education built around who they are, not the other way around. Today, that belief takes shape as a school.

Meet AISS. Abilities Ignite School System.

A Montessori-rooted learning environment where children explore, choose and grow at their own pace. Where inclusive practice isn't an add-on, it's the foundation. Where life skills like communication, confidence and independence matter as much as academics.

And because real progress starts with understanding a child first, AISS includes a dedicated Assessment Centre, with behavioural, speech, occupational, physical and remedial therapy delivered by experienced professionals.

This isn't just a new school opening its doors. It's AIEF and Mir Hassan Community Centre coming together to build the kind of environment we've always believed children deserve.

Admissions are opening soon for the September 2026 intake.

Meet the minds behind tomorrow's impact. 🌱

We're delighted to welcome our talented interns from Rawalpindi Women University to the Abilities Ignite Educational Foundation.

Over the coming weeks, they'll be contributing to meaningful projects in education, inclusion, research, communications, and community engagement while gaining hands-on experience that extends beyond the classroom.

We believe young people bring fresh ideas, curiosity, and the drive to create positive change. We're excited to learn, collaborate, and grow together.

Welcome to the AIEF family! 💜

"I'm just bad at math."
How many of us have said that?

For some people, difficulty with numbers isn't about effort, intelligence, or paying attention. It could be dyscalculia — a learning difference that affects how the brain understands and works with numbers.

Someone with dyscalculia may:
• Find basic calculations unusually difficult.
• Struggle to estimate time or manage money.
• Have trouble understanding quantities, even when they know the numbers.
• Feel anxious or overwhelmed by everyday maths.

Recognizing these signs early can make a real difference. With the right support, strategies, and understanding, children and adults with dyscalculia can learn, grow, and thrive in their own way.

Awareness is the first step toward support. Let's replace labels with understanding.

Thanks to our Humkhayal fellowship intern "Musfirah" for this creativity.

Every child deserves the chance to learn, explore, and dream.

Through our Goonj Community Program, we create learning opportunities for children in underserved communities by providing educational activities, creative sessions, and safe spaces where curiosity can grow.

A small contribution can help provide learning materials, meaningful experiences, and continued access to education for children who need it most.

When you support Goonj, you're not just making a donation. You're investing in a child's confidence, potential, and future.

If you'd like to be part of this journey, your support can help us reach the next child, the next classroom, and the next community.

Donate today or get in touch to learn how you can support the Goonj Community Program.

Every child deserves to see themselves in the stories they read.

Stories have the power to shape how children understand themselves, others, and the world around them. When those stories challenge stereotypes and celebrate different experiences, they create space for empathy, confidence, and belonging.

Through our collaboration with WO Kahani, students explored beautifully illustrated books that encouraged conversations about identity, gender, inclusion, and respect. More than just reading, it was an opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and discover that every child's story matters.

We are deeply grateful to the WO Kahani team for partnering with us and gifting these books, helping us bring meaningful conversations into classrooms where every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.

Together, we're building learning spaces where stories become a bridge to understanding. 💜
