Being religious doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy this world. In fact, Allah ordered us to enjoy His blessings but without disobeying Him.

Allah assures humankind that if they put their complete trust in Him, He will be sufficient for them in their most trying times.

Only speak when your words are more beautiful than silence.
As the Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should either speak good things or remain silent.” [Bukhari & Muslim]

"When will I know that I am pious?”
al-Samaqandee writes:
وعن عائشة رضي اللَّه تعالى عنها أنه سألها رجل فقال متى أعلم أني محسن؟ قالت إذا علمت أنك مسيء، قال متى أعلم أني مسيء؟ قالت إذا علمت أنك محسن
A man came to Aishah and asked: “When will I know that I am pious?” She said: “When you realise that you are a sinner”. He said: “And when will I realise I am a sinner?” She replied: “When you think you are pious”.
