🇵🇰 Independence Day Celebrations at ICB, G-6/3 🇵🇰

The spirit of patriotism and national pride was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Islamabad College for Boys (ICB), G-6/3. A special flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the college, where students and teachers came together to commemorate Pakistan’s Independence Day.

Our students and teachers also participated in the Independence Day celebrations at Jinnah Convention Center, Islamabad, proudly representing ICB and sharing in the celebrations of our beloved homeland.

May Pakistan continue to progress, prosper and shine. 🇵🇰✨

🇵🇰 Celebrating 79 Years of Independence at ICB 🇵🇰

Islamabad College for Boys, G-6/3, Islamabad celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and pride in our beloved homeland.

The celebrations culminated on 14 August 2026 with a dignified Flag-Hoisting Ceremony, while a series of activities was organised in the days leading up to Independence Day to engage students meaningfully with the history, values and spirit of Pakistan.

Students participated enthusiastically in quiz competitions, poster making, essay writing, special assemblies, speeches, Milli Naghmas, Kalam-e-Iqbal, patriotic tableaux, face painting, classroom activities, a display wall, cake cutting and a plantation drive.

Our youngest students from ECE-I and ECE-II added special charm to the celebrations through their patriotic speeches and tableaux.

ICB students also represented the College in Independence Day activities at the Pakistan Monument, dressed in colourful traditional attire reflecting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, and at the Convention Centre, Islamabad, becoming part of the wider celebrations across the capital.

Classroom activities also helped students learn about Independence Day, the Pakistan Movement and the sacrifices made for the creation of Pakistan, reminding them that freedom is not only a celebration but also a responsibility.

As Pakistan celebrates 79 years of independence, ICB proudly continues to nurture young minds with knowledge, character, responsibility and love for their country.

جشنِ آزادی پاکستان کا بابرکت آغاز
آئی سی بی جی سکس تھری میں 79ویں جشنِ آزادیِ پاکستان کی تقریبات کا آغاز مسجد میں باوقار اور روح پرور قرآن خوانی سے کیا گیا۔ اس بابرکت موقع پر اساتذہ اور طلبہ نے قرآنِ پاک کی تلاوت کی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور پاکستان کی سلامتی، استحکام، خوشحالی اور ترقی کے لیے خصوصی دعائیں مانگیں۔
دعا میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے التجا کی گئی کہ ہمارا پیارا وطن پاکستان ہمیشہ امن، سلامتی اور خوشحالی کا گہوارہ بنا رہے، اسے ہر قسم کی مشکلات اور آفات سے محفوظ رکھے اور اسے دن دگنی رات چوگنی ترقی عطا فرمائے۔ مزید دعا کی گئی کہ پاکستان دنیا کے عظیم، مضبوط اور ترقی یافتہ ممالک کی صف میں نمایاں مقام حاصل کرے اور اس کے عوام ہمیشہ اتحاد، ایمان اور نظم و ضبط کے ساتھ ملک کی ترقی میں اپنا کردار ادا کرتے رہیں۔
ہم اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور دعا گو ہیں کہ ہمارا وطنِ عزیز ہمیشہ شاد و آباد رہے، پاکستان کی عزت و وقار میں اضافہ ہو اور یہ ملک ہمیشہ ترقی، خوشحالی اور کامیابی کی منازل طے کرتا رہے۔
