Supplies : we have biodegradable bags and gloves but kids can bring their own, we'll clean till we run out of bags or trash, they might have to bring water with them but that's about it

Hi, everyone.
In collaboration with the BMI branches and other schools, BMI IB is volunteering to clean up the banks of Rawal Lake by Bani Gala's entrance. The cleanup is on Sunday, 7th April. Starting time is at 10, in hopes that we will be done by 1 o'clock, before the heat sets in. Anyone that wants to join them, please send us your name! Community service hours will be awarded!

The hike has been postponed to the next weekend

To create environmental awareness among the youth, The Environmental Club with the collaboration of the IB Branch BMI, is conducting a cleanliness hike on (the trail number will be confirmed on Friday) this upcoming Saturday. The timings will be 8am to 2pm. The drive will serve to complete 6 hours of community service for all its participants. The ACE program and its environmental society will help to inculcate in youth a spirit of contributing more to their society.

We at BMI-A believe in practicing what we preach. So keeping that in mind, the environmental society has finally setup separate waste bins for recyclable and non-recyclable materials which are blue and red in colour respectively. We'll be collaborating with either CDA OR Pappu Recycles to ensure the waste reaches recycling units. Not only does recycling helps us save precious natural resources and a huge amount of energy, it also helps minimize environmental damage. We've done our job, now its your turn to act responsibly and play your part in saving the environment. We'd like to thank the BMI-A administration for approving our plan immediately and the BMI-A Art Society for helping us make the bins look aesthetically pleasing.
