Microsoft Azure Web Sites is a web-hosting platform that supports multiple technologies, programming languages (.NET, Node.JS, PHP, Python).
Users with Microsoft Azure subscriptions can create Websites, and deploy content and code into the Web sites.

How Possibly you can use it?
•You can make million dollars by hosting your online games on website.
•You can develop on any operating system you want and it’s a framework not only for Microsoft but for non Microsoft as well.
•You can setup websites in seconds as I will show later and can begin hosting for free.
•For scaling up you have to pay for computing capacity that u need.

HEC and Microsoft to Host Imagine Cup 2017 for Pakistani Students
This collaborative effort will help students of Pakistan in recognition of their innovative ideas and relative projects.

Initiated in 2003, Microsoft’s Imagine Cup is a good opportunity for students and young innovators from all around the world. The competition is happening in Pakistan for more than a decade now.

What’s new with Imagine Cup 2017?

This time Imagine Cup has made some exciting changes to commemorate its 15th anniversary.

Following are some of the changes:

$100,000 prize for the winning team
All technology projects are welcome, no longer bound by categories
Maximum three (3) members per team
Azure is required for all projects ( Get FREE Azure for Students or Visual Studio Dev Essentials)
Technology will be the primary judging criteria
How to Participate in the Competition

Register for the Competition.
Make or join an Imagine Cup team. Three eligible students will be able to make Imagine Cup teams. Users can create a team from your profile page.
Submit your project. You can submit and check the status of your entry from your Account page. The plan of submission for both regional and national finals of Pakistan is given below.
Imagine Cup 2017 Schedule for Pakistan:

Contending teams from Pakistan initially will be evaluated in Regional finals that will be held in different cities. The winning teams compete for National Finals to select a National winner. Judges from both academia (as directed by HEC) and industry will do the evaluation.

The evaluations for both Regional and National Finals will be done on the basis of the criteria listed in 2017 Imagine Cup Competition Official Rules and Regulations.

Regional & National Finals Deliverables Required:

Those interested should make sure that the deliverables follows the given criteria:

Project Title:
The title of your project.
Project Description:
A short description of your project.
Project Proposal:
A Microsoft Word or PDF document no longer than ten pages, or a PowerPoint presentation no longer than twenty slides, which explains your project and your team.
Project Software:
Software that the judges can download and use to test your project hands-on.
Project Software Instructions:
A short document that explains how to install and use your project.
Project Video OneDrive URL:
The video should be a maximum of 3 minutes in length.
Winner’s announcement will be on Official MSDN Pakistan Community Blog.

HEC and Microsoft to Host Imagine Cup 2017 for Pakistani Students

Higher Education Commission (HEC) in partnership with Microsoft is all set to bring “Microsoft’s Imagine Cup”, the world’s most renowned student technology competition to Pakistan. HEC and Microsoft Partners to Host Microsoft’s Imagine Cup 2017.
This will be a good opening for the youth of Pakistan to take part and make use of their potential by bringing their inventiveness and their devotion towards creating technological solutions. They will be able to bring their Final Year Projects and contend to win $100,000. This competition will help students take their project to the next level.
