The faculty is committed to promoting students' ethical development, critical thinking, responsible practice, an attitude of scholarship, and motivation for life-long learning. Close student-faculty interaction is fostered and students are viewed as partners in the educative process. Interdisciplinary partnerships and research involving faculty, students, and clinicians from within and outside the college are strongly encouraged. The faculty is proactive in both shaping and responding to changing health care needs and changing nursing roles within society through collaboration with health care and government agencies, professional organizations, and other educational institutions.
