A proud moment for Bahria University.

Rahmatullah Safdar, an alumnus of the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE Batch 2012) program at Bahria University Islamabad, has been honored with the prestigious Graduate Student of the Year Award at Wichita State University, USA, during his PhD studies in Biomedical Engineering.

During his undergraduate studies at Bahria University, Rahmat worked with Dr. Nadia Sultan on a self-parking car project. Her course on Linear Control Systems inspired his interest in control systems and motivated him to pursue higher studies in the field.

Rahmat later completed his MS in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Control Systems from NUST College of EME, where he developed an in-silico model of an Artificial Pancreas Device for Diabetes Management. The research resulted in an international journal publication and ultimately helped him secure a fully funded PhD scholarship in Biomedical Engineering at Wichita State University, USA.

This achievement reflects the strong academic foundation, innovation-driven learning environment, and leadership values fostered at Bahria University Islamabad.

We proudly congratulate Rahmatullah Safdar on this remarkable international achievement and wish him continued success in all future endeavors.

The Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) has officially launched a fully online and paperless Degree Attestation System, effective from 11 May 2026. 🎓

✨ Key Features of the New System:
✅ 24/7 Online Application Process
✅ Digitally Verifiable e-Attestation Certificates
✅ No Physical Visit to HEC Required
✅ No Hard Copy Document Submission
✅ Attestation Available for Original Degrees Only

🔔 Alumni who have already applied through the previous attestation system are advised to complete their pending process before 30 June 2026.
