Sorry for the delayed text. I slept in 2023 and woke up in 2024. I spent a good amount of time away from my gadgets and read a book, gave a good amount of thought to 2023s setbacks and joys.
In the realm of my own thoughts of 2023, I found solace in a vision- a prayer of a world adorned with hope, peace, and boundless happiness—free from fear and untouched by pain or suffering. But as soon as I turned on my Instagram and started watching the horrors of war and genocide in Gaza I realised that I am unable to say Happy New Year as 2024 has steeped in challenges, war , genocide and horrors unheard of.
I fear for the worse coz that’s where we are headed globally but I keep reminding myself that we need to be grateful for the blessings we currently cherish. May we, through gratitude and collective effort, strive to transform this world into the haven we all dream of. In prayers for a future marked by compassion, unity, and enduring joy.
May you all be blessed with a happy, healthy and safe life Ameen

In all my years of working in the education sector, I have worked in the capacity of a UOI teacher, an Elementary years Coordinator, an Academic Coach, a Content Developer for Edopia and now a Project Lead for Latifal Trust. Through all these roles, I have loved harnessing the powers of a child's imagination onto paper as a child that actively engages with fantasy can stimulate creativity and boost vocabulary. This even enhances their working memory performance.
In this Digital World give your child a human connection - Join my Creative Writing Sessions to bring out the writer in your child.
