Day 10 of the Cambridge PDQ CICTL at FWS DHA Peshawar, KP Cluster, focused on deepening our understanding of Assessment for Learning (AfL) and its transformative role in teaching and learning.

The session engaged educators in critically analysing formative assessment through the lenses of validity, reliability, and fairness, while exploring practical AfL strategies such as effective questioning, peer and self-assessment, and meaningful formative feedback.

Participants reflected on lesson effectiveness using evidence-informed practices and identified actionable steps for continuous professional growth — strengthening classrooms where reflection, learner independence, and achievement remain at the heart of teaching.
